Re: Chat & What Did you do today? - How was your day?

Today has been a busy day for me. I went to the farm in the morning to weed the maize. Then in the afternoon, I did laundry and now I am doing some online work before I get to preparing supper.

First thing I did today was watch the NBC Nightly News. I used to have to choose between ABC World News and NBC. But now I don't have to because NBC's reports are on YouTube. They both give very thorough reports. It's incredible and ironic. All of those news channels on cable TV and you still end up watching the reports aired on the local TV stations.

I didn't get up to much today because we had to nip out to get some more supplies. We went to a few stores and still couldn't get hold of a few things :roll: But we can only go so far before coming across a police checkpoint, only to be turned back and told to stay within our area. I put a wash on and changed the bedding. We also Skyped family in the UK because today was my father-in-law's birthday. So while I wasn't very busy online, I did a lot offline.

I took my daughter out to get some things for her online college classes. She came back frustrated because either the stores were not open OR when she got into the stores they didn't have the things she needed. She sort of takes out her frustration on me saying I'm not saying anything to encourage her to make her feel better. I'm like "Child! I don't know what to say. This is the first time in my life that I've ever experienced anything like this. I'm just praying. I don't know what else I can do!"

This morning, our Bible Study topic was Genesis Chapter 11 which is about the Tower of Babel. We had a good sharing and discussion. Now, I am writing a children's book which was ordered by a client. This is actually my first time writing a children's book in English. I have written some but mostly in Filipino.

Let's see what did I do today?

I started by updating my daily gratitude list;
15 burpees and 10 push-ups;
I read some news online.
Watered the plants;
Interacted in the discussions in Mylot,
Uploaded a post in Virily and replied to some comments,
Uploaded a new design on Redbubble (I hope I could make my first sale anytime this week)
Ok... I did a lot ... hehe...

I guess I got a good day... probably more productive than yesterday.

Howdy y’all!

I’ve cleaned my entire apartment, paid all my bills, washed my car, folded my laundry, and made lunch and dinner. Then I realized that was all a dream. So far, I’ve been lounging for the most part; but showered, made brunch, paid two bills, read a few pages in a self-help medicinal book, meditated, and watched an episode of The Circle, Paris. I plan to go for a long walk later to reach my 15,000 steps per day quota, and then the rest day will be spent lazily in bed in front of the television.

Enjoy your day!

Sorry to hear that. Hope it's not serious. This is a scary time to have to go to the hospital.

I published a blog post about "Nimrod and the Gate of God".

You write childrens books? I love reading childrens books! Since this is your first time I hope you are successful.

Do you sell the books written in Filipino on Amazon or online anywhere?

Today I am still cleaning up my articles published on Medium. Many of them are old but the content is not outdated. It's still relevant today.

Thanks! It went rather well. I even got a tip from the client! No, I don't sell my Filipino storybooks. With a team, I write stories that are made into big books to be used as learning resources by the Department of Education. Please send me the link to your blog so I can check it out.

Today, our family bible study was about Genesis Chapter 13. It's the part where God asked Abram to go to Canaan and when they reached Egypt, Abram asked his wife, Sarai, to tell the Egyptians that she's his sister when they ask. We had a long discussion about how it is unfair that the Pharaoh had to be punished for wanting Sarai to be his wife when he really doesn't know that she's Abram's wife. Turns out, the plague was not a punishment for pharaoh but is actually for Sarai's protection.

Now, we're watching Siberia on HBO while I post here on ForumCoin. I also started with Weegy yesterday so I will also check if I can answer some questions there.
