Today we did our weekly shopping and doubled the amount of supplies and food we usually get. We usually go on Friday but because it's almost always busier, we changed it to today to avoid the crowds.

I usually go on Fridays also. But went today because my son let me borrow the car. I was in an accident several weeks ago and the car went to car heaven. That left me without a car. Even so I didn't want to go to the grocery store. I drove my daughter since she doesn't have a drivers license and let her go inside and do the shopping. We're a little upset because there was hardly any rice. We'll just have to make do with what we have. I'm OK. I know that life could always be worse. In times like these I make sure to count my blessings.

You're fed up and I am watching a Special Report on how America is handling the coronavirus. I often go through periods of self-impose news blackouts where I just won't listen to the news. But not this time. I watch for updates every day. I a living in an apartment with 6 of my kids and at least 2 are still going out to work. I have other kids who I am hearing from. I guess no news is good news. I am doing my best to keep up to reports on this disease.

Community quarantine is in effect in our city so we don't go out much. I did not even jog this morning. So I spent some time cutting the grass. I wished I have a grass cutter. Then the rest of the morning, my son and I watched a number of old episodes of Ben 10 and slept after lunch.

I need to look for other ways to earn online though.

I spent most of the day vegging in front of the tv watching CNN updates or reading stuff on Facebook/Twitter. Now I'm feeling a little down after seeing people do stupid things that will likely put many others at risk. Not observing social distancing, for instance

It's curfew here today. Most of the people in the city skipped their morning walks while religious places curtailed activities as part of social distancing.
