Easy Texas Caviar with Italian Dressing! Made with Black-eyed peas, corn, tomatoes, onions, and more!
~ https://iheartrecipes.com/easy-texas-ca ... -dressing/

This is a recipe Texans usually eat for the New Year. Supposedly black eye peas are good luck peas.

All recipes are like this -
Interment ABCD
Mix them with spices PQRS
Its ready.
After reading many recipes online,
I think raw salad will taste better.

Do you have a Crock-Pot?

Baked Potatoes

Grab some russet potatoes
Saturate a paper towel with oil
Wipe potatoes with the oiled paper towel
Place potatoes in Crock-Pot.
Cook on High for 5 hours.

I have roommates so I usually place 6 potatoes in. 2 for each person.

This is also good if grocery money is low.

Similarly you can take sweet potatoes, use a fork to poke holes, oil them, put them on a plate and microwave them. It depends on how large the potato is. 2 large sweet potatoes might take 8 to 10 minutes.

Yes, microwaves are faster. But I find the potatoes to be softer via the Crock-Pot.

Fergal,

I just had to post about this one! Do you like pizza? Do you own a microwave? Cha-Ching!

In this YouTube video, a young man teaches how to make hot pizza dip in the microwave! A spoiler? He uses cream cheese, pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. That's it!

I need to buy some mozzarella and Parmesan as am plum dry!

Here in the United States, all ingredients may be found at the Dollar Tree!

I really hope that you like it!

Be sure to tell me!

Thank you Spontaneo, that looks great, I love pizza and I may well make that in the near future, it looks very simple and I've been wanting to make my own pizza for some time now.

Great video and super easy to make! This could be used at lots of social gatherings. Um? I don't think my Dollar Tree sells cream cheese. I'll have to check.

My local Dollar Tree sells cream cheese in the cooler section. Good cream cheese, although not Philadelphia cream cheese. At my local grocery store, cream cheese is almost $5.00. I cannot go wrong with Dollar Tree.

I wish I had a Dollar Tree store when I was attending university back in 70s. It's a good thing I had a government grant that covered my dorm room and my meals at the cafeteria. But a dollar store would have been great for hygiene products and detergent to wash your clothes. Seeing as how college kids are usually broke! The poor college kids. Not the rich ones.

Have you tried mashed potato salad? I think ghat is filling and healthy too. Boil chunks of potatoes, mash them in a bowl. Add in cooked ham or hotdog, corn kernels, mayonnaise and mchopped hard boiled egg. It is super easy and delicious

I do not like to consume ham. Once I ate ham and got very sick. I have not had ham ever since.

LOL. I have to laugh. We have 3 blenders in our house and the only thing anybody ever uses them for is to make yogurt smoothies.
