Hi everyone! Some of you may have noticed I've been MIA for a while. I've missed FC but just had to disconnect completely after losing my beloved dad to cancer on June 30. My dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January, but he fought hard all the way to the end. I'm just grateful he didn't suffer for months and months or worse still, years. While we continue to grieve as a family, I personally find great comfort in the wonderful memories he gifted us. We're lucky to have had him in our lives. I lean more towards celebrating him and how special he was (still is!) to all of us.
And now I've asked myself what he'd have us do, and here I am, chugging along and trying to keep my chin up. It's good to be taking the first tentave steps towards healing. It's lovely to be back. Hope you've all been well, although I know another one of our friends here at FC lost a loved one too and is also embarking on this long journey to recovery
