Personally, I like to wear headbands, kind of like a cute tiara. They make me feel pretty and feminine.

However, there are days when I feel like, who in the heck am I attempting to impress? On those days, I just wear baseball hats. Then, again, I could just be having a bad hair day.

It depends what I'm doing. If I'm going out I wear a hat with a full brim (baseball caps don't protect the sides of my face or my neck from the sun enough (to be clear I am NOT saying you shouldn't wear them, I'm saying that I don't personally like to). If I'm working out or I'm going to be indoors sometimes I wear a headband to keep my hair out of my eyes.

I am a workout person and I prefer to wear headbands because they protect my hair during days of intense workouts and doesn't allow sweat from dripping down.

I don't really like wearing headbands or tiaras, I actually like the effect they have, but after an hour of wearing them I get headaches.

I do aerobic sit ups and also do a lot of yoga.

Yoga, pilates, dancing, aerobics, resistance with some light weights, walking, and some acrobatics (balancing etc., I am an amateur circus acrobat).

I don't wear either LOL I much prefer to have my hair out even though it can be hard work. When I have a particularly bad hair day, I tend to wear my hair up. I think hairbands are cute but for some reason, whenever I wear a cap or a headband, my head feels constricted, like the blood isn't flowing. The extreme heat here also doesn't help, no doubt!

When I was in a sorority at university, 2 good sorority sisters and I called ourselves "The Big Hair Sisters". We have not kept in touch, but I am sure that they would be pleased to know that I have kept the tradition! I am still wearing tiaras!

My hairdo has not been touched by a beautician in over a year. People keep telling myself that my hairdo looks good.

A girl needs a little pampering, though. Am I wrong?

What you said about headbands and tiaras is completely normal—many people get headaches because they are too tight on the side of the head. Hats seem to be more suitable for you, especially on vacation, because they fit well and don't cause you pain.

If you like the look of a headband without the pain, you can try soft fabric ones or those that are a little loose. You can also use a small scarf as decoration, they are not too tight but still give you a unique vibe.
