Years ago, there was an urban legend about a man who arrived at a Japanese airport claiming to be from a country called Taured. Authorities were confused. No country by that name existed.
When asked to point it out on a map, he pointed to the spot between France and Spain—where Andorra is—but insisted, “No, not Andorra. Taured. Very old country. Big history.”
He was put in a hotel for questioning. The next morning… gone. Just vanished. No luggage. No passport. No note saying, “Back in five minutes. Don’t wait up.”
Fast forward to now: a woman shows up at JFK Airport. Her passport claims she’s from Torensa. Everyone assumes it’s a typo. It’s not.
She was supposed to fly to Toronto, but apparently Torensa isn’t on any map. Like the Taured guy, she disappears. Some suggest a multiverse portal. Others just say, “She probably missed her flight or maybe that she is a scammer.”
