Exercise Equipment

Postby Spontaneo » 30 Aug 2025, 14:46

I am looking into buying a stationary bike or a treadmill. I am just not sure which one yet.

Which do I buy? What is your opinion?

If you like cycling and want a lower-impact workout, stationary bike might be good. But if you’re looking for something that simulates walking or running, a treadmill would be best.

I think a bike would be good, this way you can go out more often, get a fresh air, and in the morning, get some vitamin D.

I would choose walking or runing in nature. Maybe gym as it is cheaper?

I am afraid of dogs.

I cannot afford a gym and have no transportation to a gym.

Your choice is to go to a sports center where they are sold or buy them online. There's so many good selections at Amazon.com. That's where I purchased my fitness flyer, my stair climber, and my elliptical.

I had wanted to spend my hard-earned pay on my health. However, I have decided to hop online at Poshmark.com and do some winter shopping instead.

It doesn't cost anything to go outside for a walk or run. If you are afraid of dogs, perhaps there is an area around your home where there aren't any dogs on the loose? Try not to let that fear from stopping you from doing something you really want to do and that would be good for your health. Find a way to face your fear or to work around it.

Even our park allows dogs.

I would go for a treadmill if I were you. You might however want to consider the expenses involved in operating either of the two exercise equipment options.

Winter gear is important for staying warm and enjoying the season.

How about some outside stairs? Few time up and down is much more effective than walk longer route with dogs around.

I've been using an elliptical lately, it's really helpful. The one I have has a bike seat built in so I can switch between standing and cycling. I think its a good option.
