Acquiring great wealth is not necessarily bad news. Those who win lotteries may find themselves over their head simply because they have no experience in handling large sums. Depending on who you ask, anywhere from about 33% to 81% of all lottery winners go bankrupt within three to 5 years simply by the way they blow through their winnings. (I've viewed reports that include that whole range of percentages. Seems no one really knows). I have consistently heard that about 70% of them go bankrupt within that 3 to 5 year period more than any other percentage. Reports seem to agree that lottery winners go bankrupt more often than any other group.
On the other hand, if you develop your own business with your own blood, sweat and tears over a number of years to earn great wealth, you are more likely to value what you have. If you plan ahead and make wise choices it can enhance your life as well as close family members. Being wealthy does not actually change you, it simply magnifies who you are. Everything you experience with money comes from you, not from the money.
