Their 'agenda' is just living their lives. Gay people being depicted in movies and tv shows is no more shoving anything down anyone's throat than depicting straight people in movies is. But in any case, no, Trump isn't 'making America straight'. They aren't going anywhere.

You're mixing up terms again. Gay and trans are two different things. Most gay people are not trans, and not all trans people are gay.
And as for why they should be represented, representation of diversity actually benefits everyone. Art is pretty boring when only one kind of person is ever depicted. You miss out on a huge range of ideas and stories if you ignore minorities. And for the minorities in question, it can mean a lot to see someone like you on a screen. It gives children especially from disempowered groups something to aspire to.
