Do You Think A Woman Wearing Men's Clothes Is Wrong?

Postby Spontaneo » 22 Dec 2024, 01:57

When I was in high school, my weight was 94 pounds and 5 ft 1 in. tall. My boyfriend was over 6 ft tall and weighed over 200 pounds.

Quite often, he would dress myself up in his clothes with big belts. I looked like a little boy!

We have since parted ways.

However, ...

Over this past summer, I bought a ton of men's shirts, t-shirts and sweaters to donate to my church for Christmas. But, last week, my church and I parted ways.

Do you think that myself wearing the men's clothing would be wrong? I am still 5 ft 1 in but now weigh 163 pounds.

What do you think?

Clothes are just clothes. Anyone can wear anything they like if it fits them and they feel good in it.

Why do you think it would be wrong to wear men's shirts? Do you think people would make fun of you, or do you think that's morally wrong somehow?

I wear my husband's shirts or jackets sometimes. I have a flannel shirt he gave me because it's too small for him and I love it. Nobody would know from looking at it that it used to belong to him. With some jackets or shirts you can tell from the way the buttons go, but even if anyone were to notice I would think people would be far less likely to make an issue of a woman wearing a man's shirt than the other way around. Sexist, but that's how it is. A lot of my clothes are basically unisex, like t-shirts, fishermen's pants etc., although my husband wouldn't usually wear my clothes because he's bigger than me and they wouldn't fit him.

Thank you! I feel much better now. I have never seen a man wear a woman's clothes. But somehow, it seems just the opposite of woman wearing men's. What do you think?

Ooops. I did not mean women wearing pants literally. There are many lines of fancy women's pants. What I had meant was women wearing men's pants.

I don’t think its is wrong. I feel the clothes gives them more flexibility especially those that have added weight.
Women has been wearing pants for years ago I don’t see any reason why they can’t wear other men clothes, if they feel comfortable why not?
Personal,i like my spouse to wear my clothes i like the fitting its gives her.

Oh wow, you're 5'1? I'm 5'2. Lovely to meet another small lady here LOL

To answer your question, nah, I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. People like different things, and I say whatever floats your boat. Human beings need to learn to mind their own beeswax, quite frankly. If it's not harming anyone, what's the big issue? I just don't get it.
