What makes you read blogs?

Postby gktime » 29 Aug 2014, 22:27

I am considering starting a soccer blog within the next month, but want to make sure I do enough research to make sure I start it correctly. So, thought I'd do a little survey here. Just state what makes you visit blogs on a consistent basis, and why or why not you keep visiting some blogs. Thank you for your input!

Firstly it needs to be a topic I want to read about and secondly it needs to have quality blog posts. I would rather 2 blog posts a week which are very high quality rather than 1+ a day which as short and low quality.

What makes a high quality blog post Cyber? Something that is helpful to you and you can use, or something that is just interesting to read and informative? Some blogs seem to just have articles about their daily lives, could be interesting but not always. Thanks for your input.

I like bloggers who post regularly so you know when new posts will be up. Unique, creative, original posts are the best. You need to develop your own blogging style that people like. A lot of people may write about the same stuff, but you have to make it so people will want to read your post rather than someone else's.

Hi Friends,

Regarding the blogs mostly I prefer to visit money making blogs, when I do not have knowledge in internet and computer. It is better to see money making sites.

I read blogs because of the information or tips they offer. I have learned a lot by reading a handful of reputable blogs and some of those have truly helped me with staying on the right track.

So I'm getting that most people read blogs that will help them in some way or give them tips. So, what makes some blogs more readable than others? Like lludawg said, how do you make sure people want to read yours and not someone else's?

I think for a soccer blog, you are going to want to keep up with EVERYTHING that is going on in the soccer world and post often and regularly. Also, using social media will help you gain tons of followers.

Whatever the topic blog has chosen, it must be interesting, targeted and illustrated so that its easy to go through and have a good traffic. If the blog is laready active one, I think its recommended and trusted by as many users.

What I like to read more in blogs is the information that it provides...the persons personal opinions on the topic that he or she wants to share with the world.

I think a clean but styled and professional looking website will attract me to keep up with it the most. Websites packed with GIF, too much animations and eye candy and also massive amounts of advertisements make me feel the site is annoying and I'm gone for good.
