Lenght for a blog post

Postby Chameli » 16 Jan 2018, 22:10

In your opinion what is the good length of a blog post. They say your post needs to be at least 300 words and Google loves content that is a way longer than 300 words, possibly 1500-2000 words.

I'm not a fan of a super long post blogs that's like a novel. I'm kind of sleepy whenever I'm reading a long post. I love blogs that straightforward, and direct to the point. But I do understand that some bloggers required to have maximum characters.

I think 500-700 length of post is very okay for a good piece of article.though people might not like to read long articles but writing medium articles help in search engine.

The ideal length is 300-500 words but some blogging experts do not take word count into account but they believe in uniqueness and keywords that attract viewer to your work. However, a minimum of 300 words should be okay but as they say 'more the better'. I have written posts having 4000 words and more.

I always want to read blogs, because it inspires me to have one. I want to read blogs that has a minimum number of words, which is 300. As long as it has rich in content and full of things that is relevant to the topic, I would read it, unlike a very long blog.

I would always write more than a thousand words blog post because it has a greater chance of earning more stars and definitely can give me more earnings for Btilanders. Even with our own blogs, we should see to it that we write longer blog posts in order to rank in Google. The competition nowadays is very stiff and one way of being noticed is by having longer blog posts.

I too think 500 words for a blog post will be ideal. It does not hurt if it is between 450 -550 words.I too like to read
blogs.I will read too long posts only if they are useful or interesting.

I recently read that a post should take about 7 minutes to read. That's roughly 1500-1700 words if it's nothing but text (which I think would be a bad idea). Adding images and other items to break up the text will (in my opinion) be a better option for keeping someone's interest. People want fast, easy.

in my opinion, i think the lenght of a blog post doesn't matter provided the message is authentic and understandable, i don't know if it has any implication based on monetization, but personally, i prefer to read a short blogpost

Anywhere from 250 words to 2500 words. If you go more than that you might as well from blog and start compiling for eBook. Hey! This is just me talking off the top of my head from about 7 years of "attempting blogging efforts".

I also prefer to write medium length post. Writing 500-700 words will give you enough space for information and keywords.

when we talk about lenght, it is always the word count. If you have more words you will have more rooms for images and graphics. It does not look good to have 10 images for an article of 300 words. However, if you have 1000 words 10 images will be appropriate.
