Re: Do you delete cookies?

Postby A K Rao » 15 Sep 2018, 13:57

Mostly I avoid the sites using cookies, but ever I use those sites I clear them as early as possible to avoid the problem of getting my browser getting slower! I had faced this problem in the past! So now I am very careful now! Thanks!

When you delete cookies, it means you have deleted the information stored by websites in your browser. True, that website had to make you sign in again since you had forced a sign out when you deleted their cookies. Once in a while, I delete my cookies in order to make my browser faster. Cookies are dangerous if they are stored for a long time.

I let sites consume cookies but I clear cookies once my browser starts to slow down. I have a file where all my passwords are listen so when my cookies are cleared, I can have permanent log ins again.

I won't do that usually. Some websites may load slow after deleting cookies.

Atleast once every two weeks I make a point to delete:

Cookies, Cache and Temp files.

Not for any particular concern, it's just a way to prolongue your PCs health.

Exactly, that is why I also delete cookies. When kept for so long, they tend to slow a browser and the performance will change. I love fast search when am online and a reason why I keep less cookies.

I think I need to change my practice. Since I am at work all day and my log in details was written in my note which I left at home, there is no way for me to check whenever I forgot my password in a certain site. So I don't usually clear cache nor cookies. Perhaps I need something handy where I could write all of my details so I can refer to when I need to re log in.

Well I do remove cookies and sometimes set my browser to have the cookies removed after I close the browser.

Yes it does slow down a bit but helps in certain terms.
