Server time change

Postby CyberFreak » 27 Mar 2016, 01:49

Hi,

Just a quick notification the the server time has moved 1 hour ahead for British summer time. That means the server day may now end at a different time if you live elsewhere meaning your day post count may reset an hour earlier than previously.

Hope you all have a good Easter!

Yes :D now we are in the summer schedule, besides the weather seems like we are in the winter :( , but I feel a little bit more happy because the warm and hot weather is coming.

Will it affect our present earnings? I don't know if I am correct with my observation. The last time I left my earning was about 1,050 ForumCoins, But now they lack 3 FC. Is that correct?

Thanks for the notification. I always need to check out the server time, as I'm staying in another country. Lately, because of the daylight time saving change, I have to remember the server reset time for each site again. ;)

It will not cause anyone to lose any Forumcoin directly. It does mean that today's server day is only 23 hours but in 6 months, the time will go back an hour so it will balance out.

Right under the number of posts for the day it says Current Server Time: 15:46, so that means at 8AM where I am it's 9 hours to reset time or 5PM, right?

It means that it is now just over 8 hours till the reset from the time of your post. Basically work out the number of hours between the server time and midnight and then add those hours onto your current time where you live.

In other words currently it is 16:10 server time. 24:00 - 16:10 = 7:50 so then that is the time to the next reset. It is only going to be hour hour earlier than it was yesterday so it shouldn't be too hard to work out.

If your post was made at 8:46 then yes it will reset at 5 now rather than 6pm
