I spend enough time on GPT sites where I complete offers that it's in my best interest to delete "cookies" and temporary internet files. I use free software called Ccleaner to accomplish this. :P

I don't as I use my own PC and handset, and am too many steps for deleting the record, I am a bit tiring on that.

Yes I do it on my phone but do it less often on my laptop. If I watch anything which I should hide from others I always use incognito browser.

It is useful to delete my web search history.

But, things are bound to prevent me from doing this.

I wish there was an option of setting my phone/laptop such that it deletes my search history automatically at the end of the day.

Any ideas on this?

Thanks for the reminder. I don't do it as often as I should. I have CCleaner, but I forget to use it sometimes.

Of course,I delete my browser cache and cookies so that my phone can run smoother,it's very important and so I do atleast once a month,I just don't delete the cache of my browser,I delete the cache of all my apps and it frees the reserved application memory for a more efficient device.

I clear my history occasionally. I tend to clear my cache and cookies more often. I have CCleaner, so it's very useful to be able to choose which cookies I want to save and which I want to delete.

I don't ever really clear my history. There are a lot of sites that I like to type the first letter into my url bar, ans the browser will fill in the blank and take me to that site. It saves time. I do delete cookies and cache though.

I have one PC in a house and a lot of people are using it on a daily base, be it a family member or just a house guest. So I have two browsers, chrome that is for "public" use and "mozilla" just for me.

On Chrome I usually delete history once or twice a week, on Mozilla once in a few months. The reason for keeping history and cookies is just productivity and faster browsing. I don't have to type the whole URL just the first few letters, I don't have to constantly log in the most visited sites etc.
